  • 10-12 - Pumpkin flowers
  • 1/2 cup - Rice flour
  • 1/2 tsp - ajwain
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • How to Make Al-Poshe Pakora (Pumpkin Flower Pakora):

    1. Cut the stems of the flowers and take the inner part out. Use the petals only.
    2. Cut the flowers lengthwise into two parts. Rinse in water. Let all the water drain.
    3. Make batter using rice flour, salt, ajwain and chilli powder and a little water.
    4. Dip the flowers in the batter one by one and coat with batter completely.
    5. Deep fry in hot oil till done.
    6. Enjoy with chutney.
