Ingredients

  • 500 g- Chicken liver and gizzard
  • 2 - Onion, chopped finely
  • 1/4 tsp - Ginger paste
  • 1/4 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 2 - Green chillies, slit
  • 1 tbsp - Jaggery
  • Pepper as per taste
  • Salt as per taste
  • 3tbsp - Oil
  • 1 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp - Curry powder
  • 1 - Tomato, chopped finely
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing

How to Make Aleti Paleti

  • Heat oil.
  • Saute onion, till golden brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste, green chillies. Saute for a minute.
  • Add chicken pieces. Fry till done - can add a little water.
  • Add tomatoes and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Add jaggery, lemon juice and curry powder. Cook till dry.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve it hot.
