Ingredients

  • 1 cup - whole blanched Almonds
  • 1 tsp - Butter or margarine
  • 7 to 8 bars - white chocolate

How to Make Almond Bark

  • Put blanched almonds and butter in a microwave-proof pie plate.
  • Cook on high for 4 to 5 minutes, or until toasted.
  • Stir twice during cooking.
  • Set aside.
  • Put white chocolate in a large, microwave-proof mixing bowl and cook on high for 2.5 to 3 minutes, or until softened.
  • Stir in almonds and pour on a waxed paper lined on baking sheets.
  • Spread to desired thickness and refrigerate until set.
