Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp - vanilla custard powder
  • 2.5 cups - Milk
  • 1.25 cup - Sugar
  • 1/2 cup - Milk Cream
  • 2 tbsp - Almonds and walnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - Nutmeg powder
  • 1/2 tsp - green cardamom, crushed
  • How to Make Almond Vanilla Custard Ice Cream - Kulfi:

    1. Boil milk in a vessel till it is reduced by 3/4th.
    2. Add vanilla custard powder in 1/2 cup milk. Stir to avoid lumps.
    3. Add this vanilla milk in the boiling milk, stir continuously on low heat.
    4. Add nuts and sugar, cook for 2 minutes and remove from heat. Cool it.
    5. Add nutmeg powder and cardamom.
    6. Beat milk cream in a bowl. Add milk cream in cooled vanilla milk.
    7. Beat the whole mixture again.
    8. Fill in flat box, kulfi moulds or any bowl of your choice.
    9. Freeze for 6-8 hours.
    10. It should be covered while freezing.
    11. Serve chilled.
