  • 1/4 kg -potatoes
  • 2- big Onions
  • 1/4 tsp - Haldi powder
  • 6-8 - Green chillies
  • 1 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • A small bunch of Coriander leaves
  • 3 tbsp - cooking oil
  • Salt
  • How to Make Aloo Hara Masala:

    1. Wash potatoes, peel and cut into thick round disks.
    2. Grind green chillies, onions, coriander leaves and ginger-garlic paste.
    3. Heat oil in a pressure pan.
    4. Add haldi powder, cut aloo and salt.
    5. Close lid and fry for two mins.
    6. Add the ground masala paste to the potatoes, mix well and cover the lid and cook for another 7 mins.
    7. Remove the lid and check if the potatoes are cooked well.
    8. If further cooking is required, add a few drops of oil and again close the lid for a few minutes.
    9. Serve hot with rice or rotis.
