Ingredients

  • 1/4 kg -potatoes
  • 2- big onions
  • 1/4 tsp - haldi powder
  • 6-8 - green chillies
  • 1 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • A small bunch of coriander leaves
  • 3 tbsp - cooking oil
  • Salt

How to Make Aloo Hara Masala

  • Wash potatoes, peel and cut into thick round disks.
  • Grind green chillies, onions, coriander leaves and ginger-garlic paste.
  • Heat oil in a pressure pan.
  • Add haldi powder, cut aloo and salt.
  • Close lid and fry for two mins.
  • Add the ground masala paste to the potatoes, mix well and cover the lid and cook for another 7 mins.
  • Remove the lid and check if the potatoes are cooked well.
  • If further cooking is required, add a few drops of oil and again close the lid for a few minutes.
  • Serve hot with rice or rotis.
