  • 2 - big potatoes
  • Oil to deep fry
  • For seasoning:
  • 1 tsp - rasam powder
  • 1 tsp - oil
  • 1 pinch - mustard
  • Curry leaves (optional)
  • A dash of hing
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Aloo Kannapuri

  • Cut potatoes into cubes and deep fry till golden brown.
  • Drain and keep aside on an absorbent paper to remove excess oil.
  • In a wok, heat oil, add mustard seeds and let it crackle.
  • Add the rest of the seasoning ingredients and stir fry.
  • Add fried potatoes and toss till well coated.
  • Serve hot or cold with bread or roti.
