Ingredients

  • 250 g - potatoes, boiled, mashed roughly
  • 1 tbsp - vegetable oil
  • A pinch of Asafoetida
  • 1 - ginger, one inch piece, julienned
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1.25 cups - Tomato puree, fresh
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • 3 - dry Red Chillies
  • How to Make Aloo Ki Khatti Tarkari:

    1. Heat the oil in a pan.
    2. Add asafoetida, ginger, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder. Saute for a while.
    3. Add the potatoes and saute for 1 minute.
    4. Add the tomato puree, salt, and green chillies.
    5. Cook for 2 minutes.
    6. Garnish with chopped dry red chillies.
    7. Serve hot.
