Ingredients

  • 500g - Potatoes
  • 25g - Tomatoes
  • 10g - ginger/garlic paste
  • 5g - Cumin seeds
  • 5g - coriander powder
  • 5g - Turmeric powder
  • 5g - Red Chilli powder
  • 5g - Cumin seed and black pepper powder
  • 1 pinch - Garam Masala
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing
  • salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • How to Make Aloo Masala:

    1. Boil potatoes. Peel the skin and cut it into pieces.
    2. Heat oil, add cumin seeds and potatoes.
    3. Stir potato until it turns light golden colour.
    4. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder and ginger-garlic paste. Saute in low flame.
    5. Add tomatoes and all masalas and cook till tender.
    6. Do not add water.
    7. Garnish with coriander leaves.
    8. Serve with rotis and parathas.
