  • 6 medium sized - Potatoes
  • Methi leaves (dry) - 1/2 packet
  • 2 cloves, finely chopped - Garlic
  • 2 finely chopped - chillies
  • 1 finely chopped - Onion
  • Garam Masala powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • Chilli Powder - 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • How to Make Aloo Methi with Dry Methi leaves:

    1. Boil, peel and cut the potatoes into medium sized pieces.
    2. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the potatoes until light golden brown. Keep aside.
    3. Fry the garlic and chillies.
    4. Add the onions and saute until crisp.
    5. Add the garam masala.
    6. Add the methi leaves and fry for 3-4 mins.
    7. Add the fried potatoes and the chilli powder, turmeric and salt.
    8. Mix well and saute for 5-6 minutes on medium heat.
