Ingredients

  • 500g - potato, chopped into small pieces and boiled
  • 2 bunches - methi, chopped
  • 1 bunch - spring onions, chopped into small pieces
  • 2 cups - yogurt
  • 1 tsp - Fennel seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - Coriander seed powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seed powder
  • Turmeric powder, a pinch
  • 1/2 tsp - amchur powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - oil

How to Make Aloo Methi with Yogurt

  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, add fennel seeds.
  • Once it splutters, add spring onions and fry till soft.
  • Add boiled potato, mix well and then add all the spices and mix well.
  • Add the methi leaves, stir and cook for 2- 3 minutes.
  • Pour into a serving dish, add yogurt and rest it for 10-15 minutes before serving it with rotis or puris.
