Ingredients

  • 500g - potato, chopped into small pieces and boiled
  • 2 bunches - methi, chopped
  • 1 bunch - spring onions, chopped into small pieces
  • 2 cups - yogurt
  • 1 tsp - Fennel seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - Coriander seed powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seed powder
  • Turmeric powder, a pinch
  • 1/2 tsp - amchur powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • How to Make Aloo Methi with Yogurt:

    1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, add fennel seeds.
    2. Once it splutters, add spring onions and fry till soft.
    3. Add boiled potato, mix well and then add all the spices and mix well.
    4. Add the methi leaves, stir and cook for 2- 3 minutes.
    5. Pour into a serving dish, add yogurt and rest it for 10-15 minutes before serving it with rotis or puris.
