Ingredients

  • 2 cups - medium-thin Poha (flattened rice)
  • 1 cup - boiled and cubed Potatoes
  • 1 cup - chopped Capsicum
  • 1/2 cup - chopped Onions
  • 1/2 cup - chopped Tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup - chopped coriander
  • 2.5 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp - Sugar
  • Salt
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • A big pinch - Hing
  • Oil
  • How to Make Aloo Pauwa (Poha):

    1. Rinse poha well and keep aside for 10 minutes.
    2. Heal oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds and hing.
    3. Let it splutter well. Add chopped capsicum and onions.
    4. Saute it for a while and add potatoes and poha.
    5. Add salt, sugar, turmeric powder and lemon juice and mix well.
    6. Garnish with chopped coriander, tomatoes and serve hot.
