  • Poha - 250 g
  • Onions - 4
  • Potato - 4
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Jeera - 1/4 tbsp
  • Rai - 1/4 tbsp
  • Coriander (to garnish)
  • Green chillies - 2

How to Make Aloo Poha

  • Boil potatoes and mash them.
  • Chop onions finely.
  • Cut green chillies into fine pieces too.
  • Take a pan and put oil, rai and jeera and the green chillies.
  • Next, add the onions and fry till they become light brown in colour.
  • Now, add the mashed potatoes to the pan and stir well.
  • Soak poha in water for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Strain water from the poha before putting it into the pan and stirring well.
  • Cover the pan with a lid but keep lifting it and stirring once every 3 minutes.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Empty contents of the pan into a serving bowl and garnish with finely chopped coriander.
