Ingredients

  • Poha - 250 g
  • Onions - 4
  • Potato - 4
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Jeera - 1/4 tbsp
  • Rai - 1/4 tbsp
  • Coriander (to garnish)
  • Green chillies - 2
  • How to Make Aloo Poha:

    1. Boil potatoes and mash them.
    2. Chop onions finely.
    3. Cut green chillies into fine pieces too.
    4. Take a pan and put oil, rai and jeera and the green chillies.
    5. Next, add the onions and fry till they become light brown in colour.
    6. Now, add the mashed potatoes to the pan and stir well.
    7. Soak poha in water for about 2-3 minutes.
    8. Strain water from the poha before putting it into the pan and stirring well.
    9. Cover the pan with a lid but keep lifting it and stirring once every 3 minutes.
    10. Add salt to taste.
    11. Empty contents of the pan into a serving bowl and garnish with finely chopped coriander.
