Ingredients

1 cup - Wheat flour (atta)

1 - medium sized Potato (peeled and grated)

2 green chillies, chopped

1 tsp - Cumin seeds (jeera)

Few sprigs - Coriander leaves (kothmir/cilantro), chopped

Salt to taste

2 tbsp - Butter or margarine

Water to knead dough

Oil for frying

Method

  1. Mix all ingredients (except oil) in a bowl and knead to firm dough.
  2. Make small balls and roll into puris.
  3. Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
