Ingredients

  • 3 - Potatoes
  • 2 - Tomatoes
  • 1 - Onion
  • 1 cup - Green peas
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • A small piece - Ginger
  • 2 Cloves - Garlic
  • A handful - coriander
  • 2 tsp - oil
  • Salt as required.
  • How to Make Aloo Rasedar:

    1. Chop potatoes into chunks and chop onions, tomatoes, green chillies, ginger, garlic and coriander into small pieces.
    2. In a pressure pan, heat oil and add all the chopped vegetables and fry for some time.
    3. Then add turmeric, chilli powder and garam masala and fry for some time.
    4. Finally add green peas and salt.
    5. Mix well and pour some water (approximately a cup).
    6. Cover pressure pan with a lid and wait for 3 whistles.
    7. After the pressure subsides mix the curry well.
    8. Mix 1 tsp of rice flour with some water and pour into the curry when it is still hot, to make the gravy thick.
    9. Garnish with some chopped coriander.
