How to Make Aloo Rasedar

  • Chop potatoes into chunks and chop onions, tomatoes, green chillies, ginger, garlic and coriander into small pieces.
  • In a pressure pan, heat oil and add all the chopped vegetables and fry for some time.
  • Then add turmeric, chilli powder and garam masala and fry for some time.
  • Finally add green peas and salt.
  • Mix well and pour some water (approximately a cup).
  • Cover pressure pan with a lid and wait for 3 whistles.
  • After the pressure subsides mix the curry well.
  • Mix 1 tsp of rice flour with some water and pour into the curry when it is still hot, to make the gravy thick.
  • Garnish with some chopped coriander.
