Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp - oil
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 1 inch ginger, chopped
  • 2 - green chillies, chopped
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric
  • 2 Cloves - garlic, chopped
  • 500g - potatoes, cut into small pieces
  • Salt
  • 1 bunch - Spinach

How to Make Aloo Saag

  • Heat oil in a frying pan, add onions and cook till soft and pinkish.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste, chillies and turmeric and saute it.
  • Add potatoes and salt and stir fry it, cook with cover for 10 minutes.
  • Trim and wash spinach and chop, add the spinach to the potatoes and cook for another 10 mins, until both vegetables are soft and tender.
