Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp - oil
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 1 inch ginger, chopped
  • 2 - green chillies, chopped
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric
  • 2 Cloves - garlic, chopped
  • 500g - potatoes, cut into small pieces
  • Salt
  • 1 bunch - Spinach
  • How to Make Aloo Saag:

    1. Heat oil in a frying pan, add onions and cook till soft and pinkish.
    2. Add ginger-garlic paste, chillies and turmeric and saute it.
    3. Add potatoes and salt and stir fry it, cook with cover for 10 minutes.
    4. Trim and wash spinach and chop, add the spinach to the potatoes and cook for another 10 mins, until both vegetables are soft and tender.
