Ingredients

  • 500 gms - Potatoes
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup - Breadcrumbs (depends on the quality of potatoes)
  • 4 - Green chillies, deseeded and chopped
  • 1/2 cup - Coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 tsp - Cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for shallow frying
  • How to Make Aloo Tikkis :

    1. Boil potatoes. Peel and mash when cool.
    2. Mix with breadcrumbs, green chillies, coriander leaves, cumin powder and salt.
    3. Make 12-15 balls from the mixture.
    4. Flatten between the palms to make patties.
    5. Shallow fry in hot oil on a griddle till golden brown.
    6. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
