Ingredients

  • 500 g - small potatoes
  • 500 g - curd
  • salt
  • 2 tbsp - cumin powder
  • 2 tbsp - red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp - chaat masala
  • 25 g - jaggery
  • 10 g - tamarind pulp
  • As required - nylon sev
  • 1 - onion
  • 2- 3 - green chilli
  • 1 - tomato
  • 1 cup - coriander leaves
  • oil

How to Make Aloo Tuk Chaat

  • Cut the potato into half and deep fry it.
  • When it is half done remove from fire, squeeze out the oil and refry it. Aloo tuk is ready.
  • For the chutney:
  • Boil together jaggery and tamarind pulp adding a pinch of red chilli powder, salt and cumin powder.
  • Arrange aloo tuk on a plate and add whipped curd and chutney.
  • Decorate with chopped onion, coriander leaves, chaat masala and nylon sev.
