Ingredients

  • Potatoes - 2 (boiled)
  • Bread powder - 2 tbsp
  • Green chilli - 2, chopped
  • Green peas - 1/2 cup
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala - 1 tsp
  • Capsicum - 1, cut finely
  • Tomato -1, cut finely
  • Butter - 1 tsp
  • Maida - 1 cup
  • Onion - 1, sliced
  • Carrot - 1, chopped
  • Beans - 1/4 cup
  • Sugar - to taste
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • How to Make Alu Pita:

    1. Mix boiled potatoes, butter, and salt.
    2. Grind bread in a mixer finely to make a powder.
    3. Make a thin paste of maida using salt and water.
    4. Take oil in a pan, add onion, green chilli and saute finely cut carrot, green peas, beans, capsicum and tomato.
    5. Add chilli powder, garam masala, salt and a pinch of sugar.
    6. Spread the potato mixture to a handful, put the vegetable mixture at the centre and close it to form a pita.
    7. Dip this pita in maida mixture and then in bread powder.
    8. Deep Fried.
    9. Serve hot.
