Ingredients

  • 2-3 cups - rice flakes (poha)
  • 2 - boiled potatoes, chopped
  • 1.5 tbsp - oil
  • 2-3 - green chillies, chopped
  • 1 - onion, sliced
  • 1 tsp - turmeric
  • 1/2 cup - roasted or fried groundnuts
  • 1 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin seeds
  • Coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1/4 cup - lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Alu-Poha Chatpata

  • Wash the poha and soak it for a minute. Drain and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds. When they pop, add jeera.
  • Add onion to it and fry till transparent. Then add turmeric.
  • On low heat, add the poha, groundnuts, green chillies, potatoes, coriander leaves, lemon juice and salt. Mix well.
  • You can serve it immediately with tea or coffee.
