Ingredients

  • American Corn kernels, boiled - 1 cup
  • Sev - 1/2 cup
  • Canape cups - 24
  • Oil to deep fry
  • Onion, chopped - 1
  • Fresh red chillies, chopped - 2
  • Sweet chilli sauce - 1/4 cup
  • Chaat masala - 1 tsp
  • Fresh Mint leaves, chopped - 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  • Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tbsp
  • How to Make American Sev Puri:

    1. Heat oil in a pan, add onions and saute.
    2. Add corn, fresh red chillies, sweet chilli sauce and saute.
    3. Add chaat masala, mint leaves and coriander leaves, mix and cook till dry.
    4. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai and deep fry the canapes lightly.
    5. Remove, drain well and set aside to cool.
    6. Add lemon juice to the corn mixture.
    7. Place the corn mixture in the canapes and sprinkle sev.
    8. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
