Ingredients

  • 1 cup - chopped, gooseberry
  • A few - Green chillies
  • 1 spring - Curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard
  • 1 tsp - Channa dal
  • 1 tsp - Urad Dal
  • 3 tbsp - Peanuts
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • 1 tbsp - Ginger sliced
  • 1- Red Chilli
  • Pinch of - Turmeric
  • 3 cups - cooked rice.
  • How to Make Amla rice:

    1. Grind amla pieces along with salt, turmeric and chillies
    2. Heat oil in a pan, add red chilli, mustard seeds, channa dal, urad dal and peanuts, fry till they turn golden brown, add curry leaves and ginger
    3. Add the ground paste and fry for 2 to 3 mins
    4. Add the cooked rice and mix well
