Ingredients

  • Gongura leaves - 1 cup
  • Kadalai paruppu - 1 cup
  • Tamarind - a small piece
  • Red chilli - 1
  • Sesame oil - 2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Andhra Gongura Thokku

  • Put the pan in low flame pour 1 tsp oil in the pan.
  • Add kadalai parippu, red chilli and fry it until kadali paripupu becomes light brown. Put it aside.
  • In empty pan put gongura leaves and fry.
  • After take the mixe put the kadalai paprupu, fried red ch
  • li and gongura leaves with tamarind and grind to paste.
  • After grinding pour the oil in the pan and put mustard seeds and some salt as required.
  • Keep on slow flame until oil comes out.
