Ingredients

  • Chicken Drumsticks - 12
  • Green chillies, finely chopped - 25 or more
  • Ginger, grated - 2 tsp
  • Garlic, grated - 2 tsp
  • Onions, finely chopped - 3
  • Grind the below to make into a powder:
  • Coriander seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Methi seeds - 1/4 tsp
  • Jeera - 1/4 tsp
  • Saunf - 1/4 tsp
  • Kasuri Methi - 1 tbsp
  • Cinnamon - 3 big pieces
  • Cloves - 5
  • Kaloova - 1 tsp
  • How to Make Andhra Style Chilli Chicken:

    1. Heat oil and fry the onions till it starts to brown slightly.
    2. Add cleaned chicken and chopped green chillies and cook till all the juices are nearly evaporated.
    3. Add grated ginger and garlic and fry for a few minutes.
    4. When the chicken is nearly done, add the powder and fry till fragrant.
    5. Add water and simmer till the chicken is cooked and most of the water is evaporated.
    6. Serve hot with rice.
