Ingredients

  • 1 medium - Cauliflower
  • For marinade:
  • 1 - Egg
  • 4 tbsp - Maida
  • 1 tbsp - cornflour
  • 1 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - pepper powder
  • Salt
  • For gravy:
  • 1 tsp each - ginger-garlic, julienned
  • 2 - onions, chopped
  • 1 - capsicum, chopped
  • 1 tsp - chilli sauce
  • 2 tsp - soya sauce
  • 1 or 2 tbsp - Tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp - Corn starch
  • Oil

How to Make

  • Combine all the ingredients for the marinade into a fine paste.
  • Marinate cauliflower in this paste for 1 hour.
  • Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.
  • For gravy:
  • Heat oil in the kadai. Saute ginger and garlic till fragrant.
  • Add green chilli, onion, capsicum and saute.
  • Add the salt, sauces, corn starch and fried cauliflower.
  • Give a good toss and serve hot.
