  • Ricotta cheese - 1 pound
  • Half and half - 1/2 gallon
  • Sliced almonds- 8-10
  • pistas - 15-20
  • Cardamom- 3-4
  • Kesar - 5- 6 strands
  • Sugar- 1.25 cups.

How to Make Appetizing Rasmalai

  • Dissolve kesar and 1/4 cup sugar in the half and half and keep aside.
  • The milk will get a kesar flavour.
  • Now mix 1 cup sugar and the cardamoms with the ricotta cheese.
  • Spread this in a casserole and bake at 250 degrees for about 30-40 minutes.
  • |Cut into cubes or any other shape.
  • Now dip these in the half and half and garnish with sliced almonds, pistas and cardamoms.
