Ingredients

  • Apple - 1/2 kg
  • Onions - 200 gm
  • Tomatoes - 100 gm
  • raisins - 50 gm
  • mint leaves - 1/2 cup
  • malt vinegar - 300 ml
  • mustard powder - 1/2 tsp
  • chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • sugar or brown sugar - 200 gm
  • salt - one and a halftsp
  • How to Make Apple and Mint Chutney:

    1. Peel, core and chop the apples.
    2. Mince onions. Blanch, peel and chop the tomatoes.
    3. Combine all the ingredients except sugar.
    4. Boil till the apples are soft.
    5. Add sugar and cook till thick. Bottle, cool and seal.
