Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup - Apple (Finely chopped)
  • 1/4 Cup - Red Cabbage (Finely chopped)
  • 1/4 Cup - Onion (Finely chopped)
  • 2 Clove
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 1 tsp - Pepper
  • 1 tsp - Butter
  • Salt - as needed
  • Water - 1 cup

How to Make Apple and Red Cabbage Soup

  • In a microwave safe bowl, take butter. Add onion and apple. (Reserve some apple pieces for garnishing)
  • Keep on microwave high for 2 minutes. Take out, mix once and keep again for another 1 minute.
  • Then add red cabbage, water, cloves and cinnamon stick.
  • Cook on high for 4 minutes.
  • Now, remove the cloves and cinnamon stick. Allow the contents to cool.
  • Process in the blender till smooth.
  • Serve hot seasoned with pepper and apple pieces.
