Ingredients

  • 2 - Apples, finely chopped
  • 1.5 cup - all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup - white sugar
  • 1.25 cup - milk
  • 3 tbsp - Butter, melted
  • 1.5 tsp - Baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp - Salt
  • 1 - Egg

How to Make Apple Pancakes

  • In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
  • Make a well in the centre and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter. Mix until smooth.
  • Add the chopped apples.
  • Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat.
  • Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.
  • Brown on both sides and serve hot.
  • One can add a splash of vanilla also.
