Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Maida
  • 2 cups - atta
  • A pinch of salt
  • 4 tbsp - Ghee
  • 1 cup - Sugar
  • Oil to deep fry

How to Make Atta squares

  • Make a stiff dough of the flours, ghee and salt.
  • Roll into 1 inch thick rotis and cut into small squares.
  • Deep fry till golden.
  • Cook sugar and water together till the syrup becomes sticky and forms threads, when taken between two fingers.
  • Dip the squares in the syrup and leave for 5 mins.
  • Drain and cool.
