Ingredients

  • Rice - 3 cups
  • Beaten Rice -1 cup
  • Buttermilk - 5 cups
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Avalakki Dosa:

    1. Wash rice and beaten rice and soak this mixture in buttermilk for at least 5 hours.
    2. Grind this mixture to a fine paste with salt.
    3. Heat a tawa and spread a tsp of oil.
    4. Pour in a spoonful of batter on the tawa and spread it.
    5. Add oil to the edges if necessary.
    6. Turn the dosa and cook on the other side.
    7. Serve.
