Ingredients

  • 1 bunch - Spinach
  • 1 - Avocado, de-seeded
  • 1 tbsp- Tamarind pulp
  • 1 - Onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp - Ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp - Lime juice
  • 1 tsp - Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp - Mustard and cumin
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Avocado & Spinach Chutney

  • Chop spinach and keep aside. Mash avocado and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan. Splutter mustard and cumin.
  • Add green chilles, ginger, onion and saute. Add spinach. Cook till it wilts. Add tamarind pulp and stir well.
  • Take off heat and allow to cool. Blend the spinach and avocado well. Add salt as per taste.
  • Serve with roti or parathas.
