Baby Corn Fry is a delicious vegetarian recipe best relished in the monsoons. It is a delightful snack made from baby corns. Baby corns are loved by continental food lovers and are also used widely in Chinese recipes. Want to know how to make this scrumptious delight from baby corn at home? The baby corns are treated to lavish amount of parsley or coriander leaves to enhance the taste even more. It is best served with hot chai or any of your favorite cold drink.


  • 200 gms - Baby Corn or 1.5 cups sliced baby Corn
  • 1 - Medium red Bell pepper/red Capsicum
  • 1 tbsp - Olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp - Crushed black pepper
  • Salt as required
  • 1 tbsp - Chopped Parsley leaves or Coriander leaves
  • How to Make Baby Corn and Bell Peppers Fry:

    1. Rinse 200 gms baby corn and 1 medium bell pepper, slice the baby corn in rounds and chop the bell pepper.
    2. Heat 1 tbsp. olive oil in a pan. Add the baby corn and stir well.
    3. Saute the baby corn on a low to medium flame till the edges become a light golden.
    4. Then add the chopped red bell pepper.
    5. Stir and sauté till the capsicum is half cooked.
    6. Add 1/4 tsp - Crushed black pepper and salt as per taste.
    7. Mix the salt and pepper with the sauteed baby corn and bell pepper.
    8. Switch off the flame, now add 1 tbsp. chopped parsley leaves, you can also add coriander leaves instead of parsley leaves.
    9. Mix the parsley leaves very well.
    10. Serve baby corn fry as a side dish with a main course meal.
