Ingredients

  • 200 g - ricotta cheese
  • 2 - Egg
  • 75 g - plain flour
  • 1.5 tsp - baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Cinnamon powder
  • 1 tbsp - castor Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 2 tbsp - castor Sugar
  • Ricotta Mousse:
  • 50 g - ricotta cheese
  • 3/4 tbsp - of Honey
  • 1/2 tsp - coco powder
  • Few drops - vanilla extract
  • 4 pinch - ground Cinnamon
  • Mint leaves - a few.
  • How to Make Baci Di Ricotta - Kiss of Ricotta:

    1. Combine ricotta cheese and eggs in a bowl and beat until smooth.
    2. Add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon powder, sugar, vanilla extract and salt. Mix the mixture to make smooth batter.
    3. Fill a wide, shallow pan with enough oil to fry.
    4. Warm the oil, and retain the oil in medium heat and deep fry the baci di ricotta.
    5. Transfer on to a kitchen towel, to remove the excess oil.
    6. Arrange the baci di ricotta on a bowl and sieve the icing sugar evenly.
    7. Ricotta Mousse:
    8. Combine all the ingredients; beat with a spatula until smooth.
    9. Scoop into small dessert cup and serve with mint leaves and baci di ricotta.
