Ingredients

  • 3 potatoes, boiled and chopped into small pieces
  • 1 cup - boiled Cabbage and Carrots
  • 6 slices bacon or ham, cut into small pieces
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp - Butter
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp - pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Bacon and potato bubble and squeak:

    1. Heat the butter in a pan and saute the onions till slightly brown.
    2. Add the bacon/ham and fry for about 5 minutes.
    3. Add the beaten eggs and scramble well.
    4. Now mix in the boiled potatoes, cabbage, carrots, pepper and salt.
    5. Mix well and remove from heat.
    6. Serve hot with toast or bread and butter.
