Ingredients

  • 1 kg - chicken cut into small pieces
  • 50 g - mustard oil or any refined oil
  • 1 Tbsp - salt for marinating and taste
  • 1 tbsp - garam masala paste (2 cardamoms, 2 cloves, small cinnamon stick)
  • Make fine paste of:
  • 25 g - soaked groundnut
  • 25 g - soaked almonds
  • 25 g - soaked cashew nuts
  • 5-6 cloves - garlic
  • 5-6 - green chillies
  • 1/4 cup - milk

How to Make Badam Bata Diye Chicken

  • Rub chicken pieces with 1 tbsp of salt and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  • Heat the kadai, add oil. Once hot, add chicken.
  • Fry till it becomes slight brown in colour.
  • Then add the masala paste and cover it with a lid for some time. Cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
  • As soon the chicken is cooked, add the garam masala paste.
  • Simmer it for some time - at least another 10 minutes.
  • Serve it with rice or chapattis.
