Ingredients

  • 1 kg - Chicken cut into small pieces
  • 50 g - Mustard oil or any refined oil
  • 1 Tbsp - salt for marinating and taste
  • 1 tbsp - Garam Masala paste (2 cardamoms, 2 cloves, small Cinnamon stick)
  • Make fine paste of:
  • 25 g - soaked groundnut
  • 25 g - soaked Almonds
  • 25 g - soaked Cashew nuts
  • 5-6 Cloves - Garlic
  • 5-6 - Green chillies
  • 1/4 cup - Milk
  • How to Make Badam Bata Diye Chicken:

    1. Rub chicken pieces with 1 tbsp of salt and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
    2. Heat the kadai, add oil. Once hot, add chicken.
    3. Fry till it becomes slight brown in colour.
    4. Then add the masala paste and cover it with a lid for some time. Cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
    5. As soon the chicken is cooked, add the garam masala paste.
    6. Simmer it for some time - at least another 10 minutes.
    7. Serve it with rice or chapattis.
