Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Almonds
  • 1.25 cup - Sugar
  • Kesar /yellow color - A little
  • 3/4 cup - Ghee
  • Saffron - a few strands
  • 1.5 cup - Milk.

How to Make Badam ka halwa

  • Soak almonds in hot water for an hour.
  • Blanch and make a paste with milk.
  • Dissolve some sugar and in warm water.
  • Add the badam paste to it and cook until it thickens.
  • Add the kesar and saffron and stir till it dissolves.
  • When the halwa begin to stick to the pan, add the ghee and cook until a halwa consistency is reached.
