Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Almonds
  • 1.25 cup - Sugar
  • Kesar /yellow color - A little
  • 3/4 cup - Ghee
  • Saffron - a few strands
  • 1.5 cup - Milk.
  • How to Make Badam ka halwa:

    1. Soak almonds in hot water for an hour.
    2. Blanch and make a paste with milk.
    3. Dissolve some sugar and in warm water.
    4. Add the badam paste to it and cook until it thickens.
    5. Add the kesar and saffron and stir till it dissolves.
    6. When the halwa begin to stick to the pan, add the ghee and cook until a halwa consistency is reached.
