Ingredients

  • 2 cups - almonds, soaked in water peeled
  • 2 litres milk, thickened by simmering
  • 2 cups - Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • 2 pieces silver warq

How to Make Badam ki barfi

  • Grind almonds to a paste.
  • Add to milk and cook till dry.
  • Add sugar to 3/4 cup water and boil till a 2 string syrup is obtained.
  • Mix almond paste with the syrup.
  • Pat mixture onto a greased plate.
  • Cool, cover with warq and cut into squares.
