Ingredients

  • Besan - 1/2 cup
  • Badam powder - 1/2 cup
  • Melted ghee - 2.5 cups
  • Sugar - 2.25 cups
  • Water - 1/2 cup

How to Make Badam Mysore Pak

  • Grease a tray with ghee and keep aside.
  • Take 1 cup of ghee in a frying pan over low heat. Mix the besan and keep it separately.
  • Mix sugar and water in a pan over low heat.
  • When the sugar dissolves, add besan and badam powder.
  • Stir the mixture by adding the remaining ghee little by little.
  • Keep stirring until bubbles start forming.
  • Spread the mixture in the greased tray.
  • Mark out desired shape with a sharp knife, while warm.
  • Allow to cool completely, before storing in air-tight containers.
