  • 250 g - Maida
  • 100 g - Almond
  • A pinch - Saffron
  • 100 g - khoya
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar
  • 1 cup - Ghee
  • How to Make Badam puri:

    1. Chop the almonds coarsely.
    2. In a pan, heat 3 tbsp of ghee and add chopped almonds.
    3. Add khoya, a pinch of saffron and sugar accordingly.
    4. Boil until it becomes of thick consistency and ready to fill.
    5. Now make a dough of maida and make small puris of it.
    6. Then add 2 spoons of filling to each puri and fold over to make a semi-circle.
    7. Now in another pan heat rest of the ghee and fry the puris in it.
    8. Remove the puris once they turn golden brown.
    9. In another pan make some sugar solution by boiling water and sugar.
    10. Add a pinch of saffron to it for taste and colour
    11. Put the fried puris into this sugar solution and take it out after 10 to 12 seconds.
    12. Put it on a plate, garnish it with chopped almonds and serve hot.
