  • 1 cup - whole Almonds
  • 2 cups - Sugar
  • 3 cups - water
  • 2 tbsp - Ghee
  • 1 tsp - kewda water
  • 4 tsp - finely crushed Almonds
  • How to Make Badam Roll:

    1. Soak almonds overnight. Peel them.
    2. Make single thread consistency sugar syrup using sugar and hot water. Let it cool.
    3. In the blender make a paste of peeled almonds using the sugar water. If required add more water. The paste should be fine.
    4. Cook the paste on medium fire. Keep stirring.
    5. After the paste changes colour, simmer and add 1 tbsp ghee. Stir and add rest of the ghee.
    6. After the almond mixture thickens, take it off the flame and let it cool. Add the kewda water.
    7. Make small elongated oval rolls with your hand and roll them in crushed almonds.
    8. Chill and serve.
