  • 250 g - blanched Almonds
  • 2.5 bottles - water
  • 2.5 kg - Sugar
  • 20 - cardamoms, powdered
  • 1 tbsp - sandalwood powder
  • 2 - fresh rose petals
  • Silver warq
  • How to Make Badam Sherbet:

    1. Add cardamoms, rose petals and sandalwood in a small piece of cloth and tie it into a pouch.
    2. Place sugar and water in a pan, add in the spice bag and boil gently till the sugar dissolves.
    3. Add 2 tbsp milk, remove the dirt as it raises to the surface.
    4. Grind the almonds to a paste after blanching them and add to the syrup when it begins to thicken.
    5. Boil for 10 mins.
    6. Cool and squeeze out the juices from the spice bag.
    7. Discard the spice bag.
    8. Strain through a muslin cloth and into a sterilized bottle.
    9. Add pieces of silver warq and close tightly.
