Ingredients

  • eggs - 4
  • Oil - 45 gm
  • Onion - 80 gm
  • Ginger Garlic paste - 30 gm
  • Tamarind paste - 20 gm
  • Jaggery - 15 gm
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves - 20 gm
  • To grind:
  • Coconut grated - 1
  • Red Chilli whole - 6
  • Coriander seed - 1 tsp
  • Cumin seed - 1 tsp
  • Peanuts shelled - 10 gm
  • Gram roasted - 2 tsp
  • Poppy seed - 1 tsp
  • How to Make Bafela Nu Eda Curry:

    1. Boil the eggs for 8 minutes and shell.
    2. Fry onion in oil till golden brown and add ginger garlic paste, simmer for 3 mins.
    3. Add the ground paste and stir till fat leaves the masala.
    4. Add tamarind paste, jaggery and water and simmer for 5 mins.
    5. Season with salt and add eggs.
    6. Serve hot garnished with fresh coriander leaves.
