Ingredients

  • 400g - dried Figs
  • 200g - low calorie Sugar
  • 250g - flour
  • 100g - low fat margarine
  • 150 ml - Honey
  • 5g - Clove powder

How to Make Bake Anjeer Karanjee

  • Wash and chop the figs. Cook the figs with the low fat margarine and low calorie sugar.
  • Add the clove powder and cook until a thick paste forms.
  • To prepare the dough:
  • Sieve the flour and rub in low fat margarine.
  • Add cold water and make a tight dough.
  • To Make Karanjee:
  • Roll out the dough and cut into a disc of 12.5 cm diameter.
  • Fill it with the stuffing and roll it into a half moon shape.
  • Bake in an oven at 180 C for 25-30 mins.
  • Garnish with honey.
