Ingredients

  • 3 cups - fish (cooked and boned)
  • 8 tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 capsicums, thinly sliced
  • 2 onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 bunch - coriander leaves, chopped
  • 4 Cloves - garlic, crushed
  • 4 tbsp - grated cheese
  • 4 tbsp - breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp - freshly ground pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • salt to taste

How to Make Baked Cheese Fish

  • Grease a baking dish.
  • Cover the bottom with half the quantity of onions, coriander, capsicum, garlic and tomatoes.
  • Sprinkle with half the quantity cheese and half the quantity chilli powder, salt to taste and pepper.
  • Arrange the fish evenly over the layer of cheese and seasonings.
  • Cover the fish with the remaining cheese, sprinkled with the remaining chilli powder, pepper and salt.
  • Cover with the remaining chilli powder, pepper and salt.
  • Cover with the remaining vegetables in the same order as before.
  • Sprinkle the top with breadcrumbs and dot with butter.
  • Cover with aluminium foil and bake in a mode oven for 30 mins.
