  • For the White Sauce:
  • 5 tbsp - butter
  • 5 tbsp - flour
  • 5 cups - milk
  • salt and pepper as per taste
  • Others:
  • 250 g - macaroni
  • 200 g - corn
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - butter (for greasing the baking dish)
  • 5 cubes cheese (grated)
  • salt to taste

How to Make Baked Corn and Macaroni

  • Boil the corn with little salt till tender.
  • Boil the macaroni in sufficient water with a tbsp of oil and little salt till done.
  • Drain the water and keep aside. Prepare the white sauce.
  • Add the macaroni and corn to the white sauce and mix well.
  • Grease a baking dish. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish.
  • Evenly spread grated cheese on top.
  • Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 degree C till the cheese turns golden.
  • Serve hot with tomato soup and garlic bread.
  • For the White Sauce:
  • Lightly heat butter in a non-stick pan.
  • Add flour and saut1.5 on a low flame till golden.
  • Gradually add milk and stir continuously to avoid lumps.
  • Cook the sauce on a medium flame, stirring all the time till you get a little thick consistency.
  • Remove from fire and add salt and pepper. Keep aside
