  • For baked Crab leg:
  • 0.7 lbs - snow Crab legs
  • 1/2 cup - Chinese chilli Garlic sauce
  • 1.5 tbsp - oil
  • For Corn fried rice:
  • 1.25 cup - Rice
  • 3/4 cup - fresh Corn
  • 2 - green Cardamom
  • 3 to 4 - Cloves
  • 1/2 tsp - Onion and Garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - Butter
  • 2.5 cups - water
  • How to Make Baked crab legs with corn fried rice:

    1. For baked crab leg:
    2. If you are using frozen legs, it's very necessary to thaw it first.
    3. Use luke warm water to thaw the legs for half an hour to 45 minutes. Break the crab legs apart near the joint allowing the marination to seep in the crab meat.
    4. In a big bowl add 1/2 a cup of the chilli garlic sauce, marinade the crab leg pieces , keep aside for 10 minutes.
    5. In the mean time, set the oven temperature to 325 degrees F.
    6. Arrange the crab leg on a oven safe baking tray, drizzle a tbsp and half of oil on top and bake for 12 to 13 minutes.
    7. For corn fried rice:
    8. Rinse the rice well with water, drain and keep aside.
    9. In a pressure cooker heat a tbsp of butter, add the cardamom and cloves to it, once fragrant, add the corn with the onion and garlic powder. Let it cook for 2 minutes by constant stirring.
    10. Add another tbsp of butter before adding the rice.
    11. Fry the rice for a minute or so by constant stirring till it starts to change colour.
    12. Add double the water as rice. Add salt.
    13. Cover and wait for 3 to 4 whistles.
    14. Let it stand for 3 to 4 minutes before you remove the cover.
