Ingredients

  • 100 gms - Sugar
  • 1/2 litre - Milk
  • 4 - Eggs
  • 1/2 tsp - Cornflour
  • 5 gms - Cashewnuts
  • 5 gms - Almonds
  • 5 gms - Raisins
  • 1 tsp - Vanilla essence
  • 1/4 tsp - Grated nutmeg
  • For garnishing:
  • 5 gms - Cashewnuts
  • 1 - Cherry

How to Make Baked Custard

  • Boil and cool milk.
  • Lightly beat the eggs.
  • Add eggs, sugar, vanilla essence, grated nutmeg, dissolved cornflour and the chopped raisins and nuts to milk.
  • Place over slow fire and stir continuously until thick.
  • Pour into a greased baking tray.
  • Decorate with remaining nuts and the cherry.
  • Bake at 180 degrees C until brown.
