Ingredients

  • 1 small Chicken
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 Tomatoes (chopped)
  • 4 peppercorns
  • 1/2 piece - Ginger (chopped)
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1 stick - Cinnamon
  • 1 large Onion (sliced)
  • 1 tbsp - Coriander leaves chopped
  • 2 Green chillies (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp - Ghee
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Baked Eggs with Chicken Masala:

    1. Boil the chicken in a little salted water along with the cinnamon, cloves and peppercorns until tender.
    2. Separate the meat from the bones and chop.
    3. Heat the ghee and fry the onions till golden brown then add the tomatoes, turmeric and coriander powders, garam masala and ginger.
    4. Simmer for 5 mins.
    5. Cook till most of the liquid is absorbed.
    6. Place this mixture in a baking dish.
    7. Carefully break the eggs on top and cook in a mode oven for about 10 mins, or until the eggs are set.
