Ingredients

  • For the white sauce: 7 tbsp - Butter
  • 7 tbsp - flour
  • 7 cups - Milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Other ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups - peas (boiled)
  • 200 g - spaghetti
  • 1 small tin - Pineapple slices (cut into small pieces)
  • 5-6 cubes - cheese (grated)
  • 1.5-2 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1/2 cup - Pineapple syrup
  • 1.5 tsp - Butter (for greasing the dish)
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Baked Gramaldin:

    1. For the white sauce:
    2. Slightly heat butter in a non-stick pan.
    3. Add the flour and saute on low flame until golden.
    4. Gradually add milk and stir continuously to avoid lumps.
    5. Cook the sauce on medium flame, stirring continuously until you get a slightly thick consistency.
    6. Remove from the flame and add salt and pepper. Let the white sauce cool.
    7. Remaining preparation:
    8. Boil the spaghetti in sufficient water with 1 tbsp of oil and a little water until done. Drain the water completely.
    9. Add the boiled peas, spaghetti, pineapple pieces and pineapple syrup to the white sauce.
    10. Add a little salt if required. Mix well.
    11. Grease a baking dish and pour the white sauce mixture into it. Let it cool. Evenly grate cheese on it.
    12. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 200 degrees until the cheese on top turns golden. Serve hot.
