  • 2.5 lbs - parsnips
  • 2 tbsp - butter
  • 1 cup - beef stock
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • A dash - nutmeg

How to Make Baked Parsnips

  • Peel and quarter the parsnips and boil for 15 minutes - but do not let them cook completely.
  • Place in a large dish and add the beef stock, salt, pepper and nutmeg as required.
  • Spread the butter. Cook for 30 minutes on the lowest heat in an oven.
  • Serve with any main meat dish.
